Give

Everything we receive is a gift from our gracious and abundantly generous Father in heaven. We believe that we are simply stewards of all that God has given us: money, time, abilities, influence. We want to wisely manage our resources and use them in ways that give glory to God and help further His kingdom here on Earth.

Where can I contribute?

General

Funds will cover various costs covered in our budget. Budget details are voted on in our annual general meeting.

Mission

Funds will go directly to support our missionaries in the form of a lump sum once a year.

Building

Funds will go towards the maintenance and enhancement of our church building.

Other

Funds will go towards any items or areas you specify in the Note/memo field (For example, you may specify 'new table in foyer' or 'childrens ministry').
Note: Until a project is fully funded, the gift will be used where needed most.

A tax receipt will be issued to the given address for amounts over $20 every February.

Send an e-transfer through online banking to the recipient e-mail: offering@mvgchurch.com
Include your official name and offering number in the message
If you do not have an offering number, include e-mail address, phone number, and mailing address so that we can contact you in the future.

Tithe.ly

Make a one-time or reoccuring donation through credit card.

How is my payment processed via tithe.ly?

Our online donation system is handled by tithe.ly. They have a processing fee of 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction.

There are 2 additional options that you may select in your transaction:

If you would like to cover the additional processing fees such that your intended donation amount will be received, check the "Cover card processing fees?" option. Read more about how the fees are calculated.
If you would like to setup automatic giving, check the "Setup Automated Giving?" option and choose how often you'd like to give and when the payment should be processed.

Existing Donors

If you have an existing donor number, please specify it in the Member ID# field so the Treasury department can easily credit it to your existing number.
